Ed,
There will be some early birds, usually bicycles and crotch rockets, but the big groups of Harleys etc. that are just out for a cruise start arriving around 11:00 AM and it starts getting crowded after that time...I think we would want to be close to done by 11:00 AM...I guess it depends on how long you guys want to drive...I have something scheduled after lunch and will need to be home around 11:30 AM, so I'll need to drop out if we run much past 11:00 AM....No worries there though....You guys are the ones that have to get up and drive....Just let me know.
Terry

Guys,
Sorry, but due to an unexpected change in my family's Sunday plans, I'm going to have to drop out. I know you don't need a guide, but let me know if you want to know the route I had planned and I'll post it or PM it to someone.

I can still make it, but I probably have an hour and a half drive in front of me to get there. I just checked the weather and there are supposed to be showers on Sunday. If it rains, I'll have to bow out. How about Saturday?

Oh well...bummer wanted this to be the 993's first foray into the Gaps. Now I am scheduled to be one of the 2-wheeled (self-powered) versions tomorrow. Let's re-schedule before the summer ends.

I waved as I went past, Terry, did you see?
There's a very important lesson to be learned up in them thar hills: Complete your braking and downshifts before the turn! Quite nasty if you don't. No cars, livestock, or other property were damaged, but I sure lost points on style.
Solo runs are nice, but it's way more fun with other folks. Y'all, let's do something early-mid June.

Straight up 19 to Blairsville...I was going to go back to Brasstown Bald and take some new pics (it's been almost a year since the last set), but a slow white Ford Ranger turned that way so I said to hell with it...I was happily drinking coffee at the Blue Ridge Waffle House by 9:30.
