I am familiar with three possible chips for DME 0261 203 674 .

Chip numbers are 1037 355 430 , 1 267 358 454 , 1 267 358 947 . Depends on whether you have a C2, C4 , manual , Tip which you start with .

Geoff raises a good point. In case mine would work, I have chip # 1 267 358 164 in my early (non immobilizer) 1995.

Sorry to polute your life with chip number crap . I did that because its generally a good idea to install something that will work properly .
Maybe i get fussy after writing chip software for 20+ years !

If you opened three 0261203674 DMEs you could find three different chip numbers on labels .You need the correct chip for your motor !!!!!!

Good luck

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that as long as you have a chip from a non drive block car, with the same trans as yours you will be ok. Just my opinion but I have been doing things like this for a long time.

What Mark said is basically true,....

Ryan needs a stock .674 (ECU) chip or one to duplicate.
