Default Victor Equipment Wheels

Anyone install Victor (Lemans) wheels on a 993 C2 (narrow body)? I'm thinking about installing 8's up front and 9.5's in the rear. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you

You can't really talk about widths w/o also discussing offsets....if I were to get a set of aftermarket wheels and the proper offsets were available, I would ideally get 9" front and 10.5"/11" rears, and 8.5"/10" at a minimum.

Great looking wheel for sure, but I'm not sure about the sizes either

I have the Lemans wheels on my 996TT and they have been fine. They are a bit heavy but I havent noticed any difference in street use.

I have them on my car, 225/45/18front and 265/35/18 rear. I have pics too but don't know if I can show them here since I'm just a RL member.
PM me if you like!

here's a pick of the Turismo's on my NB 993. I know it's not the same style you're looking at, but I can tell you the quality is very good (especially for the price).

This isnt a very good picture as the car is in the garage and the other car is in the way. I painted the Porsche center caps black and did the indented lettering in red then a few coats of clear. Yea they are really dirty! The brakes on the TT are terrible for brake dust.

Those look really good...I just went to the site and they don't list the offsets nor the retail price. What are your size and offsets?

I've had these for a couple years, so I don't remember the offsets. I'll check when I get home tonight.

I don't get it... You buy a fast sports car and put on some heavy *** rims with crappy tires. That's like Marion Jones wearing cowboy boots for a 100m sprint race...

Unless you are using the car just on the track (and have another set of proper wheels and tires for that) and only want the wheels to show, I would get some proper wheels and tires.

Maybe you can get away with putting those on a 500hp turbo (acceleration wise, handling will still be hindered) but I would never have such heavy wheels on my 285hp 993.

If you don't want to spend $$$$ on proper wheels, why not get something used? I picked up a set of BBS LM's in 18" with tires for $2000...

Thanks for all the replies. The Victor 18" x 8" and 18" x 9.5" Lemans wheels I'm interested in only come in a rear offset of 49mm and 45mm up front. With this in mind, I'm a bit concerned with fitment. I'm being told I would need to run 225/40-18's up front and 265/35-18's in the rear. At this time my car is at standard height but in the future I plan on modifiying the height to Euro specs. What do you think, will these sizes and offsets work on a narrow body?

Thanks again for your help.

Any thoughts regarding the offsets I posted above?

With an 8" front you can run 235 and probably 245 depending on the brand of tire. ET 45 is not a problem...I have 9" ET40 currently with 245 PS2s and very slightly rolled front fenders. Not so sure about the rears though...even with 265, ET49 may require you to roll the fenders a bit.
