OT: Opinions on LIRP/VUL's?
OK, so I've been mulling this back and forth for a while, but just wanted some opinions on LIRP/VUL's.....Why I'm looking at this option...
- Fairly young (some say mentally) and healthy still
- Cannot qualify for Roth
- Maxed on 401k contributions (+ company match)
- Anticipating present and future higher income tax brackets?
- Looking for way of funding kids' college??
- Looking for another means of retirement income??
I have not pulled the trigger before because of the bad rep and how they can be misrepresented, but the more I study it and grasp it, the better it sounds. Would love to hear any feedback from the brilliant and collective RL knowledge, good or bad, on these.....
