Installing front seat belts in the 993...
Just purchased a new set and wanted to know if it's a DYI project? Anyone here replaced/installed new seat belts in his/her 993?
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yep - definetly a DIY job. Treated myself to a set of yellow front belts for Christmas.
You'll need to pull the rear interior side panels. I had to remove the rear panel/rear deck to get everything to come out nicely. Just keep track of the little screws and get them back in.
It's all pretty straightforward once you get into it.

I was thinking of getting some red belts. Can you tell me where you got your yellow ones? How much were they? Thanks.

Are the seat belts supposed to have that twist in the them? Mine do a half twist over my shoulder before entering the the top mount. Some say it's for comfort but I can't be sure. Do you all have the twist?
