Actually heard this story a while ago. I think there were also some photos in Sports Car Market Letter a few month ago about this. It makes a great story but I'm not sure I buy it.

That's still a very wierd way to maintain a "collection." Wouldn't you want to drive them occasionally, or at least seal the barn so that less dust fell on the cars. The full true story may be even more fascinating.
