The DAS bar install in a cabriolet is simple. You need be capable of drilling a few holes and tightening some bolts - something most folk can do.

In a coupe it's not quite as easy, but if you're mechanically inclined its not hard, may need a second set of hands though. Mine needed a hint of ........persuasion come bolting the last rear leg

I've only had experience with the DAS Sport in my SC, and I knew someone who did a DAS Sport in his 993 ...both very easy, and nothing beyond common sense to install. No experience with any other make bar, though.

Das in the coupe is OK. Get an extra set of hands to help bringing the bar into the car, and to help "persuade" it to line up with the bolt holes. Also, you need to position the seat belt reels nearly exactly vertical to have them operate correctly.

A couple hours and many swear words later, you will have it done.

I used one of the spreader clamps with the rubber feet. It helped protect the paint on the bar and made the install super simple...(DAS Sport Bar in Coupe)

Wow ...sounds like other bars needed some "convincing" ...guess I just got lucky as mine was straightforward. Two front seats out, bar in, bolt down. Life is good
