You're right... photos are a must. Now, how about some photos of the interior. Nice OEM Targa wheels. Lets dump the amber side lights for some clear ones..... See, we're here for you. I ran those for awhile too.

Looks like triple blue. Very nice! Now tell us a little bit about it. Having just bought mine I'm very curious to hear what other transactions are looking like. Oh, and welcome, from one newbie to another.

Bought it end of Oct07 with ~42300 original kms on it. Blue interior, 6-speed, original sound system, 282bhp flat 6 air-cooled engine, open diff, wheels and tires as shown in pix. Seats are hard-backed sport type with blue leather. Very deep blue paint with greyish/dark-blue softtop.
I think its been lowered, but I can't find my notes about how or by how much. I'll find that info and post it later.
I'll shoot some interior shots later this aftrenoon now that the sun is out and I have the top down... but its dirty from a winter's driving (snow tires all round and it was good to go!), so maybe I'll wait till its cleaned up a bit.
I had a Quaife limited slip diff put in over the winter - I couldn't help myself, I LOVE the way an LSD digs in and DRIVES the car in corners.

Congratulations and welcome from another Edmontonian! I'm picking up my first Porsche next week. Looks like spring is trying hard and the roads should be swept up soon I hope.

Hey Matt777, good to hear from another local 993 owner! Its kinda cold up here so there don't seem to be too many porsches on the roads... are you a member of the local p-club? I was last year when I was still driving the 964, but didn't re-up this year (yet). Do you plan to auto-cross this summer?
pegasis0066, yeah, I bought it just before winter fell. The first pix in this thread were shot in my driveway on Nov 3rd, and it was a bit unusual that it was still pretty nice out. It wasn't much longer before snow fell, temperatures never made it over 0C, and that was all she wrote till just the past couple weeks. I dunno, does Nov-April sound like along winter?
Sorry, the price is a private matter, but when our dollar shot past the greenback by exchange rate back in the fall, the price of the newer p-cars fell just enough that I could justify the tradeup. I'd looked at a '96 aquamarine 993 C4S Coupe when I bought the 964, but there was no way I could afford the extra cost, and it wasn't fair to the wife to invest so much of OUR money in MY toy (she couldn't drive stick).
MM993, it hit 20C today here and I was out with the top down for a large part of the afternoon - boy, THAT felt good!! Now I just gotta change out my winter wheels/tires for the summers and I'm ready to rock!

Love the blue interior. I will be joining the PCA club soon and hope to do at least one of the breakfast runs and perhaps an autocross. I think there is some kind of event this Tuesday evening but I'll be picking up my car in Phoenix Tuesday and should be back Friday PM. I've talked with a couple of the members but don't really know anybody yet. Perhaps I'll see you there. Matt.
