Default Back on the hunt: WTB 993 or 993tt (xpost)

After a long journey involving a 7-GT3 order, then not...then buying/owning an RS4 for awhile, than not... some unexpected relief on taxes, etc... I am on the hunt again. Mr. car flake is back in action

While I still find the newer GT3s and turbos tempting, and even more so very well done early R-Gruppe type cars, I will probably end up back with a 993-based p-car. All the reasons that took me there with my last 993 C2S are bringing back to that line of thinking. Maybe a tt this time.

Here is my question -- are there any lesser known dealers/places that you have seen 993s at in the past? I am keeping tabs on the typical spots -- rennlist, autotrader, cars.com, rpm, premier, willhoit, truspeed, pelican, ebay. But if anyone knows of other sources, I would be interested to hear about it.

The search is half the fun, and I am just wanting to cast my net wide enough.
Along the way, if anyone has an unlisted car that they are considering selling, I would be interested in anything that fits the following categories:

- varioram or tt
- coupe, manual
- less than 50k miles, more than 10k miles
- no black, blue, or yellow cars (no offense, just personal prererence)
- ideally black interior
- ideally limited ownership
- pristine, no stories car, completely unmolested
- dealers ok but private party even better, rennlist best
- obviously, full mechanical records, PPI required, etc.

Thanks for any advice about other search options!

Just bite the bullet and buy one of those perfect TTs that Ray Joseph always has. You could be driving one this weekend

What happened on the GT3 - I missed the story somehow?

None of the RPM 993tt really fit my requirements, dont like the color combos and worry about such low mileage...plus I am not going to spend close to $90k

RE: GT3
Long story...and probably too much detail for here... i had a very unique opportunity to take delivery of a 2008 -GT3 at MSRP that was arranged through a PCNA exec that I know...but in the end, I passed for several reasons. Even at sticker, a lot of money for a 2-seater only that would not have seen much track time, delivery timing wasnt great, my 2nd son was being born, 1st son was sick in the hospital then. PM me if you want to hear the more detailed version. I ended up arranging another Rennlister to get the GT3, at no profit to me.

Jonathan
This car has been For Sale for awhile.Another Rennlister has looked at it,but doesn"t want to pay the asking price.
I haven't looked at it myself, but it looks to be real nice with some nice options. The guy that looked at it ,actually made an offer.

We seriously need to have a DFW rennlist coffee get together and discuss Jonathan's options. :-)

yes I saw this... I think that the dealer has had it for awhile at that price. for me, at almost $80k it would have to be exactly what I am looking for and excite me quite a bit. I am in no hurry, and while I like Arena Red, the supple grey leather is not my first choice...purely personal. if the price was better, this would be a serious contender, but I think that with some patience I will find what I am looking for at a better price

Hey Jonathan,

There are a couple very clean local Silver/Black C2S here in the Seattle/Bellevue area, one was on consignment at Park Place Motors for a short time until the owner redeemed it. I'll check things out for you if you like.
