Default Question on the Rear Bumperettes....

OK.
My US spec car is heading back to the UK at the end of April.
When I get back I'll need to install UK license plate, which are larger than US plates.
Does anyone know if the rear bumperettes come off, and effectively create a larger space for the license plate.

Else I'll need to do a rectangular install similar to the following pic.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks

Phil

They pop off really easily, and leave a huge gaping hole.

I'm not sure about the UK, but in some EU countries you can get "American Sized" plates. . . or you can use this as a great excuse to get a euro spec. rear bumper cover !

They do come off and there will be a hole in the bumper cover below; but more importantly you will have to cut off the aluminum bumper reinforcements that stick out.
