It is my understanding that they do. Due to the fact they have the stronger and more powerful engines there was concern from Porsche with the air flow under the car at high speeds and recommended keeping them on. The feeling was due to the white color and stronger engines they can handle the heat. Just what I heard:).

Just purchased the car, 95, with 42,000 miles on it.
Friend of mine told me about this site, very cool....
