I'm in the market for a Fiat 500. I would prefer an early car. If anyone knows of any nice ones for sale let me know.

They are rear engined. Maybe that's why Seinfeld likes them so much...

Actually he is probably a lot like Jay Leno (and many of us) in that he appreciates all sorts of cars. I'm guessing the Fiat was chosen for it's simplicity.

 

I thought those were called Topolino's.

LOL...that's correct. They are called Topolino's. My sister in law had one in Milan. 2 cylinder, rear engine, air/oil cooled, light and nimble liitle cars. That's about were the similarity ends.

 

In the very back of my mind, there's a little voice yelling 'a BTM is a Fiat Dino hardtop'. I know I've come across it, but it's all terribly vague.

I think you're right. It has to be a Fiat Dino of some sort. Or maybe he liked the 67 Fiat 500 so much after watching Luigi in the movie CARS and got one for his collection.

 

The best news is that nobody was hurt badly except the Fiat.

The second best news is that it was not a Porsche that was hurt.
