Ya'll are welcome to crash the rock soiree. We're now mostly a mellow bunch who stay on the porch near the beer coolers, with music always on and about 50 tiki lamps in the field. One year, we toted a satellite TV system up there and watched 24 hrs of LeMans nonstop, at least until the TV got rained on...
While SUV ride height 993's can get up there, I'm not sure about ROW M030 or lower...guess I'll have to perform the experiment...Talk about one hell of a photo op if we could pull it off...but I digress. Second weekend in May, then, for the run?

Sunday May 11th looks more and more like the date.
If you hear some rumble coming up in the middle of the night, it's probably a bunch of 993's crashing the party.

I like the idea of the rendevous points and peel-off points for those that need to leave early. The meal at the end would be great as well, more so if this goes for Mother's day weekend.

I just spent the week fishing about 5 miles from Suches. The weekday driving is even better than the w/e.
When going along Hwy 60 look for the Skeenah Gap Rd about halfway to Blue Ridge- its a nice few miles of less winding and higher speed road. Especially if you get caught behind some minivan on 60, the detour up and back will be nice (until you catch back up to the minivan).
Enjoy.

Wow guys...I'm flattered... even though I know that deep down you really want me there to serve as lure for the cops...the guinea pig to send up front...the fall guy...LOL
Don't change your plans for me, but if it happens to rain on the 18th, or the stars are not aligned correctly, I'm good the following weekend.
Hopefully, we get another run before the year is over!
