While SUV ride height 993's can get up there, I'm not sure about ROW M030 or lower...guess I'll have to perform the experiment...Talk about one hell of a photo op if we could pull it off...but I digress. Second weekend in May, then, for the run?
Ed...what an awesome place you have and the perfect place for a rock soiree. We are currently looking in the area and Ellijay for property. Please keep your eyes open in your neck of the woods if you see something come up.

Sunday May 11th looks more and more like the date.

If you hear some rumble coming up in the middle of the night, it's probably a bunch of 993's crashing the party.

Ooops forgot about that...if this is a problem we may need to look at the next weekend then, Sunday May 18th.

Me? Maniac? What do you mean???

I like the idea of the rendevous points and peel-off points for those that need to leave early. The meal at the end would be great as well, more so if this goes for Mother's day weekend.

Sunday, May 11 is not going to work for me...Mother's Day plans...I can only do May 18 or one of the Saturdays (May 10 or 17).

I was just informed and reminded by the powers that be, that the weekend of May the 18th we'll be out of town, which means I can't go.

So, I guess there will be one less maniac on the roads that weekend , and I'll catch the next one.

Sergio,

I'm sorry to hear that you won't be coming up.

I just spent the week fishing about 5 miles from Suches. The weekday driving is even better than the w/e.

When going along Hwy 60 look for the Skeenah Gap Rd about halfway to Blue Ridge- its a nice few miles of less winding and higher speed road. Especially if you get caught behind some minivan on 60, the detour up and back will be nice (until you catch back up to the minivan).

Enjoy.

+1...After May 11, I'm good for just about any date all summer long so any time will be good for me.

Wow guys...I'm flattered... even though I know that deep down you really want me there to serve as lure for the cops...the guinea pig to send up front...the fall guy...LOL

Don't change your plans for me, but if it happens to rain on the 18th, or the stars are not aligned correctly, I'm good the following weekend.

Hopefully, we get another run before the year is over!
