I had my gear oil changed to Redline after I originally saw this thread some 2 years ago. Noticeable improvement in the 1 - 2 change and overall the box felt smoother. I had the clutch hydraulics flushed and the fluid replaced last year and that's made the clutch a bit lighter as well.
Mileage is now at 110K and the car just feels better and stronger. I'm also getting nearly 30 miles to an imperial gallon on a 34 mile commute each way.
