yes on that faithful day one of are own 911's was victim of the trade center disaster. The engine in this rs clone was salvaged from a 964 that was in the parking garage of one of the towers. mark llanos of danbury, ct has done a spectacular job rebuilding this engine and creating this car. Bravo!! It's very cool that the engine gets to live on. enjoy the pic's

Did the owner of that engine/car perish?
neither mark or myself know about the previous owner. I was hoping that maybe someone in rennlist would perhaps know more about the car that this engine once belonged too.

That's cool that it lives on. My family in NJ had a neighbor not survive 911, but his P-car eventually came home unscathed. I guess it was on a real low level or in a particularly lucky section. I don't know what model or year it is, my sister-in-law "thinks its a 911."
