Default Winter project complete!

All winter projects are complete just in time for spring! Time to enjoy! Hopefully April 4th is dry at Pocono.

Thanks all for your the compliments. It means a lot coming from this forum. Now that I had a weekend to drive it and admire the work, I guess it doesn't look too shabby approaching 100k miles and 13 years old.

What are those track mats like to live with? Do you use them on the street or just the track and is there an advantage to regular mats?

Well,
I used them a whopping 2 times this past weekend. For the limited street use the car will see, I would say they are great. Easy to clean, and look better than carpet mats for the track theme. The advantage is your shoes do not get caught on them like mat's and are good for the track since you need to remove carpet mats for DE's. I removed the mats in my first 993, because I always found them in the way.

Al:

Very nice.... I'd like to see more pics! Did you duct the scoops to your brakes? What tires did you end up choosing?

Next pics will be lifting the inside wheel on the North course!
Nitto NT-01, comparably to Toyo Ra1's. Dave ran them a few times and seems to like them. They work well as a street/track tire. Just don't get caught in heavy rain!
