Where can I get one sans (that means without) the airbag?

This guy has one listed on eBay, but will not confirm it it the proper size for a 993 steering wheel:

Maybe that's what I already have? I saw one on ebay a while ago that was just silver and black; no red. I should have bought it, but by the time I was ready to pull the trigger, it was gone.

That's the one that I have. I bought it on ebay for about $55 or so 3 years ago. It fits right on top of the engraved crest on the airbag.

Our 993s may be depreciating but at least your crest is appreciating!

I think that is a myth - the way the airbag deploys eliminates the crest from embedding in your forehead. I have never seen a documented case of Porsche crest head.

With that said, why take a chance at being the first one.

Are you kidding? Sounds like a life altering payment from our friends at P-car in the event that happened. I'd consider a CGT in trade as long as the damage wasn't to bad
