Walker Oxygen Sensors?
Hi all,
Just received two primary 02 sensors for my 993TT, Porsche part #993.606.128.01 and they're made by Walker, not Bosch. Should I use them or return them and order Bosch parts? If I use them, should I use the included paste on the threads? I'm worried about fouling the sensor element.
Thanks,
Charlie

Don't know about the Walker vs. Bosch but I'm guessing the paste is anti-sieze compound and YES you want to use it and YES you want to be careful not to get it anywhere other than on the threads. Just put the paste on the threads on the sensor itself and you should be fine.

Thanks 2Many.
I spoke to the ever-knowledgeable and helpful Steve Weiner on the phone and he confirmed my thoughts - don't use that generic rubbish. Bosch is the only way to go.
