Rattle can and sanded edge. I think the black center and black tire needs to have some color separation.

Don and Bob great idea, look fantastic and inexpensive to boot, that is if you happen to have a spare set of 18" Cup II's lying around!
The info and all these pictures are a great help! I like all of them but have to decide on only one.
I have a spare set of 17" Cup II's here and thought of using those perhaps repainting as well. Unfortunately, after looking at 17" tires I can't get exact tires to match up outside sizes with my 18" wheels/tires for the track. That is to keep all my suspension settings (mostly ride height and rake) the same no matter what wheels I have on. Probably not best anyway to switch off between 17" and 18" at the track. So will plan is to sell off the 17" Cup II's I currently have and get a spare set of 18" wheels.
MarkD and Coleman I have always like the looks of the K28's and in black they are hot!!! I am not sure when you got your wheels but I have to say that I did not consider Kinesis when I bought my Fikse's because they had just gone throught the company change and had alleged customer service issues a couple years ago. What's the latest scoop on Kinesis? Safe play at this point or what?
heres mine, just powder coated s.c.II. Ithink I need to do calipers for some contrast. I do need help resizing photo to post, Its too large and then I will attach. Thx. Jeff
Holy $hit! Harvey...the front discs in that pic are starting to glow cherry red! Talk about braking, what was that 140mph to 30mph in about 4 secs!!???
...I am thinking about getting a spare set of wheels for the track and was looking for something a little different.....18" modular race stye 2 or 3 piece lightweight wheels preferred....
While they're not modular, for track wheels it's really hard to beat Volks for weight and also value for money
The volks look awesome!! Did you guys powder coat them black or can you purchase them that way? So far I've only seen them in silver or like a gunmetal grey....
