Mark - yes.
Pong - I thought that we were meeting at the same Starbucks as the last Adrienne-hosted drive... at the HEB off 71 in Bee Cave. If so, the Mountain Star Lodge is about a football field away. Maybe I am mixed up and we are meeting somewhere else this time. I certainly dont care either way, I will stay wherever...

Adrianne changed the meeting place to 2222 and 620 at the Starbuck's in the HEB shopping center. (See her post #2 above).

Jonathan - We are meeting at the Starbuck's at 2222 and 620, which is a different spot than the last drive. Could you edit your post, just to be sure folks don't get mixed up?
Mark - invite whomever you like. The more, the merrier!!
Pong - that Holiday Inn is VERY far away from where we are starting the drive. The Mountain Lodge is much, much closer. Make sure you are looking at the Starbuck's at 2222 and 620, and the "Four Points" area. The Mountain Lodge is on 620, so you would just head north from there. It's a somewhat scenic drive along the lake and the dam, and being away from town it will only take about 15 minutes to get there. That Holiday Inn would take you about 30-45.

I got the Starbucks loaction based your link on post #4 on page 1 of this thread. I then used Map Quest to find distances between the 2 points.

Aw shucks,. Yesterday I booked a no cancel no refund room at the Sunset Valley HI Express. I guess I'll keep it and get up early.

Pong, point A on the map in your link is incorrect. It is showing 8001 Ranch Road, #620, NOT Ranch Road 620. I think this link has the correct location of the Starbucks meeting place at 7301 RR(Ranch Road)-620.

Adrianne caught the probelm as well. I lifted the addresses directly from the web site for each establishment.
Gald I don't live in Texas. I'll be hopelessly lost forever.
