Default NNJR Pocono event April 4

I was approved to register for Friday's Solo upper run group event. This will probably be my first event in the new ride. Let me know who plans to run on Friday.

I hear ya. I ran in snow flurries at LRP many years ago, but that was in a C4 with no power.

Are you running the entire weekend?

Great. Look forward to meeting you on Friday. If time permits on maybe you could sit in my passenger seat for a couple laps. I will have brand new poles with a 5 point harness wrapped to a roll bar for your safety. What the best location to mount a fire extinguisher?

Precisely...

Now ... after all these years has anyone found really good food to eat up there?

Yes... it's obvious he has not met you Bull. Hope you enjoy those poles...

ava6603... I might suggest he that he hold the fire bottle in his lap.

I think I can safely say that Bull (and myself included) tends to enjoy the company of smaller passengers... this allows him to stretch out and use 2/3's of the 911s interior.

Just another amazing aspect to the Porsche 911 .... the ability to seat people who are like 6' 20" or thereabouts.

Nothing that is better than the steaks at the Seneca.....after a few drinks. The food at the Glenora Inn, about 8 miles north of town is good, but much too nice of a place to let you and me in! When my wife forgets how much she dislikes the track and comes with me, we stay at The Glenora and they let me in with her.

I would be happy to do so, and I look forward to meeting you too. H-D is right in that I usually have serious problems with seats that are not bolted to the floor (no sliders). I can do stock seats with a helmet if I assume the laid-back, reclined instructor position. We will see what you have when we get there.

Good luck Al. Is everything sorted out now?
I've signed up for a few events at Summit Point before the traffic court date. One is with the Schattenbaum PCA from NJ. Let me know if you will be down this way.

I'll just remove the passenger seat to accomodate normal size men. I am 5'9 on my best day. With driving shoes remove an inch. I guess I will just attempt to follow your lines around the infield if you wait up. I know this isnt a race, but what lap times do you run on the North course?

Larry,
I am still sorting things out. I refiberglass the front Gt2 splitter and sending off for respray to freshen up the front end. I'm sure I will go off and scuff it all up on the first lap I need to change all the fluids and replace brake fluid with motul or equivalent racing fluid and brake pads and rotors. I would like to go to Summit Point some time this year. I might go with EMRA to run the time trial event. Staying local for now to make sure the car is running properly.
