Default AC always blows hot air

Even when temp is set low, hot air blows out of the vents. Anyone have this problem before. I'm going to remove the undertray and check this weekend, however, it would be good to get some advice in the meantime.

Well, obviously the first thing to check is if the compressor is even engaging. From there, a whole host of possibilities, low refrigerant level being the primary culprit. About all you can do is hook up some gauges and read the pressures. If low, then the hunt for leaks begins............

Mine stuck on hot a few months back (when it wasn't cold outside). I got into the vent motors and dug around just to familiarize myself with the part locations. I must have closed a loose connection or cleared a jam, because when I replaced the few trim parts I pulled out everything was OK. I hope this helps...

FIXED.

Turned out to be the valve in the drivers footwell. The wiring harness had come lose. Plugged it back in and everything worked great.
