Default 10% Ethanol

I just accidentally pumped a full tank of 93 octane with 10% ethanol. The lifters sound much noisier. Did I do any damage? How should I deal with it? Will a full tank of 100% 93 deal with it? My shrink thanks you!!!!!!!!!!!

A max 10% Ethanol is fine. It should not have an effect on your lifters as you suggested. Sunoco has 10% gas here and I use it occasionally with no ill affect. Drive it fast and enjoy.

We're dealing with in CA just fine for how many years now? Gasoline doesn't have anything to do with engine lubrication. (Well, maybe if you have an old, beyond tired MFI car.......)

And to top it off, we have to deal with 91 octane!
