Default RS Shift **** Install Question

I received my RS shift **** (993-424-075-30-8YR) and would like to know if it is a 1:1 replacement with my OEM shift ****.

Can you please advise?

Thanks,
e9stibi

I guess I could have been a bit more elaborate in my answer... The RS ****/boot should be a direct replacement for the stock mushroom shifter. Both are a friction fit on the lever. My '95 came with the RS **** but I've never removed it. Come to think of it, I should, as there might be dust lurking underneath.

...and you know that dust is adding untold amounts of weight to your car, making it much slower, I'm sure!

I think it's more of a 1:1.0001 replacement. Close to 1:1, but not quite.
