Is there any weight savings going manual? If so, how much? Thanks.

How difficult is it to install?

If my memory serves me right I think the power steering pump / pulley / bracket weighs about 10kg / 22 lbs , combined with hydraulic lines and fluid I think you'll be looking at 12-13kg in total.

The PS stuff isn't nearly that heavy. The bracket, pump, lines, etc, are aluminum. The PS rack is slightly heavier than the manual. All told, including fluid, you're probably saving well under 10 pounds by removing it. There are other advantages, though, including never having to worry about a leaking PS rack, easy spark plug changes and engine drops, and less horsepower drag on the engine from turning the pump.
