I am hunting for a daily driver and as a habit always search for 993's too keep in touch. i saw this yeaterday and took a bet with my wife that this car will be picked up and discussed in this forum

seems like at least 10k too cheap. i hope that it is not where our car prices are going....i am sure we will have the answer here soon..

Here is an excerpt from the email exchange I had with the individual who looked at the car

I was in Boston last Saturday and took a quick peak of this car
Did you ever hear of the expression " a 20 footer" ?...the car was a repaint and was very rough...the mileage looked like 150 K miles
i passed on it

I don't know anything beyond that statement, this individual buys and sells cars, so I figure if he passed on it at 23.5K to resell there must be issues.

PS I have no interest in this car yada yada-I just picked up mine last friday

I'm the person who first asked about the car. No dibs. If it's really a 20 footer respray and rough, it may work out for somene looking for a track car, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Also noted that his VIN was not offered in his ad to do a Carfax which seemed odd. Anyone know of an Ocean Blue/Cashmere S for $23K? LOL

If someone is interested they should check it out for themselves, I am passing along someone else's observations. If someone gets the VIN I have an open carfax and will be more than happy to run it.
