Default Metric Hardware Assortments

I have been looking at getting a set of nuts/bolts/screws/washers/gromets/etc. to have around the garage for when I'm working on the 993. So far, all the sets I've found have been quite pricey and have too many pieces for what I need.

Can anyone recommend a good set or have any ideas on where to look?

Thanks in advance!

I purchased a couple of those fastener sets from Griot's and another place but found that I needed only about 10-15% of the selection and the rest just sit there.

Then I discovered that the larger Ace Hardware stores usually carry a fairly extensive selection of stainless fasteners in most metric sizes and you can but them by the piece. So I put my own little selection together, with more of the commonly used fasterners and fewer of the others and simply renew it every now and then.

Because the 993 has so many function-specific fasteners, I'm more likely to use them on my lawn tractor than my 993, but they are high quality and not very expensive at all.
