If I take the P out whenever, wherever, I tend to forget my phone, my camera and my housekeys. I don't know why that is, must be the excitement it still gives.... Will try and remember that for the dyno run in a few weeks.
Additional info; according to Porsche Bangkok, my 993 is the most powerfull NA 993 in Bangkok, their standard results are 250~255 rwhp, so 274 from the chip and the dachx ain't too bad.

Your numbers were at the WHEELS?? Wow, those are big numbers.
BTW, I certainly didn't mean to doubt your results over this ECU issue. I personally think your numbers are probably fine, but what do I know.

On the ECU issue, I really don't know also, all I did was dyno it, fit the pipes/cats and dyno it again. i didn't give any prior thought to what effects might occur where. I did the same when installing other chips, just dyno it, put in another chip and dyno it again, I think i have 7 chips laying around and this is the best one... FWIW, I did a full engine rebuilt at 35k, currently the car is at 41k so quite fresh everything. Anywayz, for me it was a simple way of establishing the effect of the dachx cats versus old situation. I did the same thing before with catbypasses but then I had a torque issue and way to much noise. Again, i'm happy with the results.
safe driving....

I settled on the chip which I got when i bought the car but was not installed at that time, since the owner didnt dare to run it in Thailand, with 95 ron maximum and not everywhere avilable... Tried quite a few others but always ran into some small issues, pinging, rpm limiter etc etc. Found out that this is a KMS chip. http://www.kms.vankronenburg.nl/ Probably not much use to OBD2 owners though.
