These are Classic Grey...I have a Classic Grey interior and they photograph oddly...I also have the same seats....I paid upwards of $3500 for mine....so, anything less than that is a deal...I bought mine about a year ago from a fellow Rennlister and at the time, LA Dismantlers wanted $4K for theirs...Classic Grey sport seats are really really tough to find. These are great seats!

Yeah, Rubicon versus Classic is really confusing to me. My former '96 993 had Rubicon interior and sport seats. I guess if there were any confusion you could call PCA and ask, like I did.

You guys will have a bit of competition on your hands, because I have been looking for a cashmere set for a while too! You can bet your a$$ that I would keep it quietly to myself if I found a pair too !

LOL--I respectfully withdraw from the cashmere competition. Having actually sat in 993 sport seats, there's no way I would put them in my car. Extremely beautiful and correct, but perhaps the least "sport" of any sport seat Porsche's ever made.

Couldn't you just dye some other color seats in Ca$hmere?

You really cant dye the seats and get the correct color...you could, if you wanted, buy new seat covers and have them recovered...Gaah sells the factory-correct seat covers...It's a little pricey...but to have what you want...well, sometimes it costs a bit.

I think the price for new covers is somewhere north of $1,500.. maybe closer to $2K.

IIRC, World Upholstery quoted me somewhere around $1500 for both front seats in oem black leather.

Is it true that you can still get the sport seats new? LA dismantlers are telling me they can get me a new pair OEM in Cashmere. I thought these were no longer available. what gives??

I dyed a set because I couldn't find the color I needed. Turned out great.
