The list prices are different and the 2 sets of tips are different. I don't remember if the Dansk ones I had before had the powdercoated outlet pipe - I think they did.
Tony, can you remember?
The reason I'm being so picky is bc I know the Dansk tips stand up well to discolouring. I can't say the same for the FVD tips unless someone who has them can chime in.

I don't believe they were powder coated. PM chris322, he'll be able to tell you for sure as he has my old tips.

I guess I was in hopes that the FVD ones were actually Dansk tips. But I bet the Dansk ones are powder coated which would suggest the price difference.
Anyway, I pulled the tigger on the FVD ones. I'll know more & post pics in about a week.
Hey Adam.....just in case my wife is around next time we hook up I did not buy any new tips....I did not spend $241 (including shipping) on silly little chrome things that stick out the back of my car. I'm sure you understand what I am implying here right?

Update...
Got an Email back from FVD confirming my order. The Email stated that the tips are coming from Germany. 
Maybe they are Dansk, maybe the pipes are powder coated, maybe FVD hasn't changed the picture on their website.
Our maybe I'm waaay too optimistic.
Who cares at least they will now fill that huge cut out in my bumper that is 1/2 filled by the factory rectangle tips.
