Ok, not to burst anyones "bubble" but.....keeping anything in a bubble is not good....as things degrade....oil, seals rubber, leather, etc...they release gases....without getting too technical...these gases degrade paint...and accelerate degredation of the items they are trying to preserve....the real enemy is moisture..if you keep it minimized...thats great...but if you trap it along with hydrocarbons...well, thats bad....

To a point. I don't think I (or someone else out there with similar) get squat interest in a C4S with high miles (mine, 116K), but did have nearly every option checked off. Someone paid goofy money initially for the car I now have.

It is winter with nasty weather. I have 3 other Porsche's to chose from. My car is not driven often but when it is it is driven hard. It gets it's legs stretched enough and every mile is a smile. I agree these cars need to be driven but you can preserve and enjoy them. I see no reason to drive it for just drivings sake. I have a 964 C2 and 928GTS for that.
What color interior was on the 94 S in the video. Is this NJ or some place else? Although the flachbaus are nice they really have become a collectors museum piece and I prefer to have my car with some bolt on mods producing 50+ more HP and considerably more torque than the flachbau. Although I don't drive my car often it is not as much of a concern to those who own true flachbau's.

I have detailed most of Steve's collection, and I can tell you the cars are perfect. There are pics here:

Is that your 968 or Damian's? I thought he had the only yellow black cab?

I've never quite understood the idea of collecting cars that you don't drive. It seems paradoxical, like buying a television set that you never watch, or going to a fancy restaurant and ordering an expensive dinner that you'll just sit and stare at without eating.
But to each is own. Obviously, some people find great value in this.
