Will the spare tire in the boot of an 05 boxster fit in the trunk and mount on a C4S 993. I am missing my spare and have the chance to buy one from a boxster, just wondering if it will work. Thanks.

Since a 17" Boxster rim and a 17" 993 rim are interchangeable, I would imagine the spare would work, although I'm not sure about the offset on the rear of the widebody car. It won't fit where the collapsible factory spare does, though, it will be too wide ... and I also believe that the collapsible spare is pretty important for the crash protection in the front of the car.
