I installed Invincashield on my 993 5 years ago and recently found they had dissapeared.

Last month I ordered from this outfit: http://www.invisiblemask.com/ for my '08 535xi and installed it myself. I was very happy with the quality of the material and the included (free at the time) installation kit.

I bought mine from the 3M website, the local distributer came by and installed it. Really nice fit and finish. I watched him do it and I would never try it myself. You have to have the right chemicals and experience. Not easy at all. The longer you stress the material, the less clear it is later I believe. No orange peel, fit and finish was good. I didn't like the way the mirror is done. Only the frontal surface was covered and not all the way around it to the edge. I don't see it anymore though. It's just the way it is and I got used to it.
Hope it helped in your decision.
If you want more details, I have pics too.

JPS,

I went with the Invisi-Mask film. The film was very good, well cut and the backing material was equally good. The film came in a small 1" diameter roll that was about 6 feet long when unfurled but within minutes it laid out fairly flat. I had visions of fighting the curl when I saw the roll being so small, but not so.
