The ones on the eBay ad looks to be to be the old RS Speedlines which are no longer made; Sunset probably had the newer RS Speedlines which look almost identical and are still in production.

David....what is different in the design of the "new" RS Speedlines ? My understanding was the mold remained the same but build date stamps were new.
As an aside....I haven't really pushed the set I have since posting here a month or so ago. Getting ready to market them more aggressively if anyone has an interest. They are near excellent for not nearly as much as the ebay post.

They are mine...and as you may be able to tell from the price -- I'm struggling with sellling them. If they do sell...I'll probably regret it! If they don't...they'll go on the car.

AFAIK the design is identical but from the photos I've seen the originals are labeled "SPEEDLINE" whereas the newer versions are labelled "SPEEDLiNE".

Actually there is some issue with the upper and lower case on all the newly produced speedline wheels. I have a set of polished 94 turbo speedlines I picked up a while back and the fronts have an upper case "I" and the rears a lower case "i". I had a new set with painted centers a year before and both had lower case "i".
There is no difference in the wheels otherwise.
I am surprised you can't sell these. Pricing is going up due to the euro and soon they won't be available anymore. A year or so back I had seen people spending $1000 less for used wheels needing work. Now people are balking? What gives?
All I can say is these will cost you a grand more a year from now.

You learn something every day! SPEEDLINE/SPEEDLiNE, I had no clue there were different scripts. Upon getting home this afternoon, I checked my set only to discover lower case "i" on the fronts and upper case "I" on the rears. My OCD is starting to act up......
