These are the best to watch finish, because they represent the true (not dealer/flippers/resellers/whatever you want to call them) market values of rare examples that often change hands privately.

Why are many here calling it a "Sad Waste of Money??" Here's why....
The next owner will pay huge amount of over-market premium for a car that is designed to be driven to get the most out of it, and then be forced to keep it in the garage forever more because each mile driven will knock the value down a huge amount....
It is NOT a sad waste for the current owner, but it will be a sad waste of money for the next buyer. And what if the next owner really wants to drive it? Then after one year, the car's value will be down $25K, which is, let's face it, a huge waste of money.
Makes no sense to buy this unless the buyer runs a museum and aims to keep cars indoors.

I'm surprised it's such a low-option car (other than sports seats), considering whoever originally bought it had the means to almost never drive it.
The options almost make it seem like it was bought as an intended track car...

Value won't drop $25K ($60K - $35K) unless he puts 50k miles on it in a year.
To me, it appears to be a rare chance to buy a 993 that is almost brand new....and if you had millions in the bank and wanted a "new" 993 this sale would be an ideal use of money, not a sad waste.
Many people can only drive 1K- 2K miles a year due to schedule, lifestyle, etc. We start off with low mileage cars and they tend to stay that way.

I also doubt the car will see a "significant" drop in value if someone puts 20k miles in the next couple of years. It'll still only have 22k miles! You want to see depreciation? Buy a new $100k BMW or MB and I bet you loose $20k just driving it out of the lot.
BTW, a white 993TT with 4k miles sold local to me for $110k a month or so ago. The new owner traded a 997 for it.

My Bmw 3.5 CSI never leaked a drop of oil, until I Quit driving it for a year. Now it leaks a little from sitting. The worst thing you can do to a car is let it sit for an extended period of time
