It did look like an unusually large number of sales today. I hope the new owners make it this way too... great forum.

I already have questions popping up in my mind, so time to start searching and posting.

My wife said I looked like a "giddy 14-year old" in the picture. I kinda felt like one too!
Just north of Alma on old hwy 71 (exit 13 off I-40, or exit 24 off I-540N). If your ever in the area give me a shout. I'm always up for a drive and some car talk. I'm sure you already know about HWY 23 (The Pig Trail) and old US 71. Making a loop through the mountains with the top down is the greatest!

It's been a long time since I've driven the Pig Trail, but I am familiar. I bet that is a great drive in the 993.

I'm not sure when I'll make it that way, but will ping you when I do. Same in reverse, although we don't have quite the drives here. We do have a few good ones out West of town a bit.

I haven't gotten a lot of good pics yet... been too freakin' cold. Here's one a friend took and emailed me yesterday.

Congrats on a beautiful car Patrick! Still can't believe how great the 996 wheels look on OUR cars!

I was just in the garage staring at her and was thinking the same thing.

Per the suggestion above, I do need to get rid of the front plate holder, but I have to figure out what to do w/ the radar detector sensor there. It's part of the frame now, but I think with some ingenuity, I can trim it up and mount just the detector part to the bottom of the bumper. Then get some bumperplugs to fill the holes left. Someday I'll probably have to respray the front from the chips, but not anytime soon...I'll be too busy driving!

Very nice Travis! It was sleeting here an hour or so back, but didn't collect. I know they are calling for rain tonight, but if it does, it's going to be S L I C K in the morning. I'll be driving the WJ if that happens for sure.

Great looking car Patrick. Congrats and enjoy in good health. I had the chance to drive the pig trail a couple years ago in a 993 and it was a blast. Hope to do it again some day and will post for some company when I do. Have fun!

Hey Patrick!
Congrats on the Beautiful Cab. Why was it when we were living in Hot Springs I never got to meet y'all? It's a pity. I think we could have had some fun.

You'll have to meet Joyce and Cal Arnold. They live in Little Rock just like you and are in the Ozark Region. They are on their second 993..... thanks to some meddling by me! Great people and Joyce LOVES to DRIVE. You can't keep her outta the car!!!

Ya know, Sometimes I really do miss R Can Saw

Maybe I'll see ya at Palloza in November....

I haven't met many P-car folks around here, but with the little ones, I haven't had much time to get involved in the PCA. I'll keep my eyes open for the Palloza details for this year.

I really do love living here... I know many folks do not, but the back roads are great, can drive 10 minutes and be in the middle of nowhere, but still have most everything we'd want to go do.

Patrick,
This year (last year 07') was my first for Palooza. Do a search and you'll find many pics. We had a blast.

I'll keep my eyes open for the '08 plans for it. I just sent a request off for PCA membership info as well.
