D.E. My e-30 m-3 or 993 c-2
which do I track? I have only done one d.e. event about 3 yrs ago (big course at Willow Springs) drove the m-3 there put 250 miles on the track and drove it home. What a blast and I learned a lot. I get to drive my sand car in the dunes many weekends in the winter (450 h.p. turbo honda in a 1900lb car) so I do get a lot of expierience driving.
So I have a invite to a d.e. course at willow "The Streets" end of Feb. I am very comfortable driving the m-3, owned it for about 6 yrs. only had the p-car for about a year. Any input and opinion would help me make a decision.
Thanks, Jeff

I'll vote the M3. Since you'll be on the track w/ other cars and putting them at risk (and vice-versa), I'd suggest tracking the car you know and are comfortable with. However, you NEED to put that 993 on the track. My suggestion is to do some AX's where you'll get to drive at the limit (granted, only in 2nd gear and maybe 3rd if you're lucky), but in an environment with almost no risk getting t-boned. Then when you're comfortable with the 993's driving dynamics put it on a real track with other cars. My 2 cents.

Why not track them both? The E30 is at home on the track
It's fun beating up on new cars with a 20 year old 4 cylinder
That being said the 993 is a blast on the track!
Don't mind the Fikse's- the clear coat went to ****.
