... "ijzingwekkend" indeed Hans; I would almost say "potverdikkeme-nog-an-toe, dat is toch wel het einde!"
And I guess that gives new meaning to that familiar Dutch saying "het busje komt zo ...". (Sorry folks, inside joke)
Thanks for the link - that is absolutely outrageous! Can't say that I like the looks of it, though.

Actually I do like the look - several years ago I had a VW T4 (Eurovan)
Speaking of the T4 - I'm sure everyone has seen this video:

Sure, Hans - I remember - hope to have you back with your 993 this year, June 15!
Always like conversions of this kind where there is a lot of the original car still present, such as the 3.6 conversion done to Charlie Slater's VW bus by Fabcar as detailed here: http://www.chpltd.com/ultra_vw/ab_fab.html

My T5 with 210 diesel horses (chipped from 174) is pretty good family hauler, don't think i will be spending the extra 145K euros.
here is a picture : http://www.barnanet.is/myndir/6/4/mynd_it7pXa.jpg
BTW I have seen figures close to 6l pr 100km (think that is close to 40 mpg?) for a car weighing 2450 kg (close to 5000pounds) not bad ! (average is 9l/100km 26mpg)).

That Samba is so cool - they did an excellent job on safety, maintaining the original look and then the rest is Porsche!
Btw - congrats on the 993!

Same 4cyl engine as in the Touareg.
Edit : woowww, just checked the us VW site, the Touareg with the V10 diesel engine is 20K more than the V8.
