Default Gamers - check this out. Force Dynamics

I just purchased two sets of the Playseats Evolution seats with the Logitech g25 racing wheel set-up to hook up to the PS-3 in anticipation of the new GT-5 game
But check out this Force Dynamics set-up for the real gamers out there.

Yup that is insane - this system recreates the position of the car in space - it recreates what you feel when you're in the car. Since we sense motion with our inner ears, we can't tell the difference between tilting and accelerating without a visual cue. When you're in the simulator and you turn to the right the machine tilts to the left; because the image on the screen tells you that you're not tilted, your brain interprets the tilt as acceleration and the reverse for braking. (info from the site)
Cost = ? ($$$$)

But to fill the gap of the winter months with the limited driving in the p-car, I guess the addiction and the wish-I-was a race car driver - this will probably be the closest I get - so I went the Playseats/G25 set-up. And we can do thisin the seats.

Yeah - anyone interested doing a GB on the Force Dynamics system.
They are in the $35k range so if we get 10 interested maybe they will knock a couple of k's off and throw in a helmet.

Check out live for speed until you get gt-5

www.liveforspeed.net

Not affiliated with them, but its an amazing game with great multiplayer for online, leagues, etc.
I use a g25 with it and its perfect. Offers support for clutch, h-shifter, paddle, or sequential....

we should get a RL server going with it!
