RDS...what rims are those on the red 993?
I love my cab. Unless it is below about 40, I keep the top down. I put in a roll bar for the DE, comes out for the road trips. I too think an S/Turbo body coupe is unbefcknglievably gorgeous, but as soon as I drop that top and feel the wind, I'm sold.

If you've already owned three Turbos, you might be bored with the NA 993 coupe ... I would get the cab because you'll also enjoy the open air experience, which will help mitigate the missing boost.
Helps me get over my former 87 930 ... those Turbos are addictive ;-)

If you want to enjoy looking at your car while in the garage, get the coupe, it looks better than the cab.
If you plan on driving the car more than looking at it, get the cab. You'll get the same enjoyment as the coupe with the added bonus of being able to drop the top down when you want to.
If you plan on doing a lot of DE's, the get a high mileage coupe and tweak it for the track.

The long range view
If you want to keep it for a long time, and have it be worth the most, remember the old car collector's rule:
If the top goes down, the price goes up.
If the top goes down, the price goes up.

My opinion (which everyone is entightled to) is as follows:
My Porsche is for "nice" weather. As such, I have no use for a roof on my Porsche. If I want to be inside while driving, I have an SUV for that but on a nice day, I don't like being inside.
As another poster has mentioned: "You don't need to go fast to enjoy driving a cab".
