Default Orange RS Clone

Does anyone remember the article that "911 & Porsche World" did on a 993 RS Clone project that they painted orange? It came out late summer or fall. I am trying to decide what color to paint a 993 race car. Options right now are white, black and orange (to match my RS), or orange. Any opinions? Thanks.

What type body kit are you going to put on the 993? That would influence my direction on colors.

Also have you considered just leaving the color stock and just doing a 'wrap'? That is what I am thinking about doing with my 993 this year.

Hey Harvey,

We met at Einsteins, CLT. I have always loved your car. Anyway, I have to sell the RS (posted in classifieds) and am buying a '95 RSCS Clone. I would include a picture but I don't know how. I was thinking about a wrap but didn't know if it would cover all of the yellow currently on the car. If I went with white, or orange, I would use vinyl graphics.
I wish I could find the article about the RS Clone build in orange. It looked pretty sweet. I would do the opposite of my RS (as mentioned above). Anyway, let me know your thoughts.

Although some of the following weren't solicited, in order of my preference would be:

Viper Green & Black
Riviera Blue & Black
Orange & Black

I believe I have that article btw. If you have any specific questions about that car, I can try to find it and answer them for you.

I ALMOST painted my racer in the late '90's Turquoise Blue. But that was also the time Buckler was coming on the scene with his IMSA car. Not wanting to be a copycat I did it in Polar Silver (old '74 chassis w/ 930/IROC bodywork). I look at it in the hands of my friend now and think I should have said the hell with it and done the blue!

The guy that did that Orange car is Greg of Tognola Engineering in Datchet, UK.
Have attached a pic of that one and my green 993 he did straight after. I can give you his contact details if your interested.
