Default St. Louis Body Shop Recommendation?

Somebody welcomed me to town by customizing my Lexus with a crowbar. Can anyone recommend a body shop?

NEK,

Welcome to St. Louis! If you're looking to stay 'factory' you might try Plaza Motors. They are a Lexus dealer, among other makes. Their body shop has done work for me in the past on several occasions, and I have yet to be in any way disappointed (and yes, I am rather picky about my cars ). Contact Dave Simon @ 314-301-1704.

If you're looking to go with someone other than a dealer, contact Jon Rhodes at Reid Vann (314-968-4100) and see if he has a recommendation.

Good luck!

Dave

I would keep as far away from Plaza as possible. My initial contact with Rennlist was started when Plaza Porsche screwed up my cab top during the factory service. They ended up with the car for all but 12 weeks in 2005, and that was only after I contacted Porsche NA about their horrible service and attitude. BTW, they never made it right!

I have had all the body-work upgrades (wing, splitters) on my Porsche done at Honea Auto Body in Maplewood. They were originally recommended by Reid Vann. I've liked them so much I keep going back. They installed a hitch on my S4 (for a bike rack), and I've sent a friend with a MB there and she was very happy with the results.

I agree with staying away from Plaza, I also am not real happy with Honea. PM me if you want the story.
