Default Anyone want to trade? (pics)

I have my 1995 993 Cab listed in the Trader for $38k. I want to sell it so I can buy another slightly higher mile coupe. I’m doing this because I want to modify it and I think mine is too nice to mess with.

Does anyone here have a 993 with fewer than 100k miles that wants to trade plus cash for mine? It has to be in good shape. I don’t expect it to be in the same shape as mine cosmetically, however, it does need to be as well maintained mechanically.

This would also save both parties from having to pay full sales tax.

Here’s some info on my car:
• 1995 Porsche 911 (993) Cabriolet.
• Polar Silver with Classic Grey leather interior.
• 39k miles.
• Came with the following options from factory:
Supple leather
Limited slip ABD
Driver and passenger 8-way power seats
17” light alloy wheels
Hi/Fi sound w/ 6 disc changer
• Original window sticker was $77,735

Car is in exceptional condition. I have the full service records. Also have all books, manuals and window sticker. Car is all original except for Sirius tuner (connected to factory radio).

It is a very pretty car, but I think your price is too high. As the owner of a 95 cab, I hope you get what you are asking for, but I doubt it.

I say you modify the cab. You are in Miami and need that drop top. My city is a lot colder than yours and I rarely get to take the top down.

Just do a bunch of reversible mods so that if you do feel the need to get a coupe, you can swap the parts back to stock and move the mods over to the new car.

I agree, keep the cab. I started to modify mine and I am close to the end (RS Shifter ...). With this setup I even started to enjoy occasional DEs.

Here are my modifications in the order of significance and I believe every one "improved" the car and would stay in the improbable case of selling:

- PSS9
- RSR muffler
- OEM 996 3 spoke
- OEM CDR 220 with Aux input
- PDA cradle in OEM telephone console
- OEM wide ovals (still waiting for cleaning and install)
- OEM Motorsound airbox
- OEM stainless steel sills
- Aluminum bezel rings
- rear fog light (finished today)
