Wow Fred, I hope it doesn't have to go at the trade in price. I also didn't realize you only had 66k miles on the clock. Good luck with the sale. Someone is going to get a great car and hopefully it is a Rennlister.

Fred, the dealer isnt going to offer you more than low $20's at best. The car is worth way more. I feel $30K.

I'd be happy with $30K, will probably take the $25K from the first one to show up with cash.

139k on the clock, 66k on the new engine.

Need for more cars forces sale now, as opposed to waiting for 'the season.'
Spring, Fall and Winter is the best time for driving a cab. Heater and windstop keeps the cockpit warm down to about 50F.

Hell of a deal! If you were closer, I'd certainly consider.

After driving, and talking shop, with Fred routinely since mid 2004, I can attest to the fact that Fred's car is a well maintained, well loved, 993 beauty! Someone grab this deal! Keep it in the family.

I wish you were closer since your cab is close to what I am looking for especially at $25k. Tip vs. 6-speed makes no difference to me in all honesty. My biggest problem is selling my 91 C2 Targa amd the distance factor. What is you timeframe on this? Also am I reading the posts right if I think the frame and body have 121k and a replacement engine has 66k?

craig001... I sent you a PM. I'm potentially looking, and definitely want an open-top one.

Patrick,

I PM'd you. I forgot to ask for you to send your email address so I xcould send you some more pics.

Also, be sure a targa is what you are looking for. I thought I would be fine with it, but have discovered that I really want a cab. I had a 944S2 cab before this car and I got spoiled I guess.

I actually considered pulling off your wheels and giving them back to you. I felt bad selling it with them but they made the car look so good. The X is a great camera car, I'm happy to provide this service.

FYI to all - the first person to look at the car took it to his mechanic, then to his bank, then he dropped me off and took it home.

Good to hear. Since I didn't hear back I'm sure you got a bit more than your "happy with" price I told you I could do, sight unseen........ So that's good. Just set in my ways, I suppose, and can't get past the tip!
