Default Pics of GT2 Splitters

I'm having my GT2 Splitters (3 Piece) installed this week and I wanted to get someone to send a pic of theirs from a front angle (close-up) so I can see where the "wing" lays in relation to the fender/bumper. The body shop I brought my 3 piece to is actually making it a 1 piece with adhesive and filling the pieces w/ plastic for strength. Because of that, I want to ensure that this now fixed one piece will be aligned correctly.

Thanks

I'd be interested in knowing more about who fabricated them and if they would be willing to do another? I've been trying to locate a GT2 front for my 993 and the track.

Here is a close up pic of when I had the splitters on my car. Is this what you were looking for?

Kind of.. More from the front. Do the splitters actually touch the fender when they swoop up?

I bought the Splitters on EBay From Hong Kong. ~$300 They seem decent particularly to be 2" from the ground; and considering even $1,200 splitters need sanded, prepped and painted. Many people have had brackets made to strengthen the middle piece since it sits out alone w/o brackets, etc. This guy thought that his creation would even make it stronger... We'll see.

That's right, got it off ebay. I've been eyeing it but waiting to see how your experience goes.

If your asking if the splitter "curl" hits the fender, no. The air escapes between the splitter and the fender. The front piece should probably be bracketed. The one time I saw the GT2 on the front of another 993/C2 I forgot to see if he had a bracket underneath, but I do believe he went for the Porsche kit because he also had a Turbo II tail as well.

I can hold off on the tail for the spring but I really would like to get some negative lift on the front of my car.

Hi Dave
I could shoot some pictures this evening and post them tonight. My car is up on jack stands so its a good time to do it.
Let me know what specific angles you want and I'll try to get it done.

Other then telling you it is very tight I don't have an exact measurement for you since I don't have this setup on my car anymore.

From what I've seen, the gap is about a 1/4". Too far for any rub, if that's a concern.

That is really what I was looking for. My body guy was concerned it may touch, I clearly told him it shouldn't. Then I checked w/ you guys to confirm my gut response.

Rick you can take a pic if it is easy. really just looking for a close-up looking right down the gap between the "wing swoop" (<- like my technical term) and the fender.

Thanks

Hi Dave
I just saw this post (its now Wednesday AM) and so I didn't get the pics shot last night.
Sounds like you may already have what you need, but if not, the offer is still good.
