With almost 90,000 miles my driver's door is now doing the dreaded clicking coming from the door post where the door check is anchored. I can see the bracket moving. It's just a matter of time before it breaks off whatever is holding it to the post. I've heard of folks getting the bracket TIG welded to the door post to fix this situation. Does anyone know of a competent shop in the Seattle area that could do this? Eastside would be preferable. Thanks.
