If you have an eBay account, you can use the "Ask seller a question" feature on eBay. I think it's up to the seller whether or not to show the answers within the listing, though...

Auction ended with US $55,655.56 :RESERVE NOT MET. I might drive down to dealer tomorrow and have a look at the car and chat a little bit about the history ...

I just sent a note thru eBay saying that I had reason to believe this car was involved in an accident that damaged the suspension and wheels quite significantly and to please let me know if they thought I had the wrong car.
We'll see what kind of a response I get.

Spoke with them. They are asking $64,500. Told me absolutely no damage history and they had all the service records too!! I need to go take a shower now.

If Lamborghini of Houston is stating that the car has had no prior damage, they need to do two things:
1) Look at the the invoice in my possession from Thoroughbred Motorcars (the local Porsche dealership here in Nashville) that states the damage that this particular car sustained prior to me buying it (and which went undisclosed by Premier Sportscars). It specifically states that the left rear wheel had been replaced and repainted and that the three other wheels were bent. It also states that the left rear control arm, hub, drive axle, and both upper links were replaced.
2) They need to call the original owner in Wisconsin, like I did, and he'd tell them of the damage and how it occured.
Of course, no dealer is going to go out of their way to find out something negative about a car they're selling, so I very much doubt they (or any other dealer) will be contacting me or the original owner anytime soon about this car.

I think you will need to provide solid proof of the accident damage. If you've got a repair bill with the s/n then provide it to them. I'm sure they won't go out of their way to find "bad news".
ps Their prices seem pretty high. I wonder who buys their used cars?

I wrote them as stated above. What follows is my original e-mail to them and their response.
