I was the owner of the car from Tennessee.
I bought the car from Premier Sportscars in Springfield, Missouri in July 2001and they failed to disclose to me that the entire left rear suspension of the car had been replaced due to an accident that it sustained during the initial owner's tenure. Three of the wheels were slightly bent and the 4th one had been replaced, but the entire (and I mean entire) rear suspension was damaged and had to be replaced...the control arm, the hub, the drive axle, the upper link, broke the wheel in half, etc.
Premier did not disclose to me this damage, and in fact, wrote on their Bill of Sale that the car was in showroom, all original condition, and that it was a car that had never been involved in an accident.
I was able to call the original owner, and he owns a Ducati / Harley dealership in Wisconsin. He told me that he took the car in to work one day, it started snowing, and that like an idiot, he decided to drive it home. He told me he slid the car into a curb real hard, and that it destroyed the suspension, and that it was at the dealership for well over a month to fix it. It bent all the wheels and destroyed the left suspension. It did not do any paint damage he told me, and I will say that the car, at least when I owned it, looked fabulous.
Just thought someone should know prior to purchasing the car.

All I have to say is WOW.
I just did a search and found your posts from 2004 regarding this car
and the SHADY behaviour from Premier.

Three Wheelin'
Well so much for those overpriced dealers who only sell the "best car's". Proves you really can't trust too many people.
Mike, Thanks for posting the info. Did you contact Premier? and if so, I for one would like to hear their response.

Burning Brakes
was last week, so far no reply.
I would have liked to email the bidders, but that can't be done AFAIK.
So in the end (today), I placed a warning ad in the Houston Craigslist website.
Those poor bastards have no idea what they are bidding on.
Actually, neither do I, but i'm assuming the previous owner who
posted here is truthful about it's dubious accident history.
