Good thread! Keep us posted on the reunion....I am doing the same with a red/black/white top '63 Corvette Roadster (365/327 engine) we restored and even tougher, my Dad's old black/black gold script '75 Carerra I would LOVE to buy and give back to him on his 75th.

Well, it is still in Texas. A texas title was issued on Jan 11, 2008. There were two previous Texas titles in May 2004 and April 2003. Someone can probably send an information request to the Texas DMV and find out who the owner is.

For a couple bucks you can submit the VIN to the Texas DMV and get the current registration and title records.

After all these years I found her...I haven't seen it but the PPI came back very positive. I should be picking her up next week.

Take the Vin number to the dealer.

It's a possibility that they have information on it if some work was ever done to it
