Too true. Here I am, a Brit living in the US, and I love the fact I can legally have red rather than orange. Looks cleaner and cooler to me.

No, but (in CA anyway) you have to have a rear red side marker, which the Euros don't.

Had our MY98 993 back in Germany a few years ago at the Porsche Werk One facility. Installed was the TUV appropriate rear fog light and new rear lens's . The lens's appear entirely red in color, though the turn signal indicators illuminate amber in color. Another twist on the theme..
